The Simple Truth

We don't collect, store, or share your personal data. Period.

Your notes, tasks, images, and anything else you create in Jata stays on your device. We designed Jata specifically to avoid the privacy problems that plague other apps.

What We Don't Collect

Here's everything we don't collect:

• Your notes or tasks: Everything you write stays on your device

• Your images: Photos of your handwritten notes never leave your device

• Personal information: No names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses

• Usage analytics: We don't track how you use the app

• Location data: We don't access your location

• Device identifiers: No tracking across apps or websites

What Happens on Your Device

All the magic happens locally on your iPhone or iPad:

• OCR processing: Text recognition from your handwritten notes happens entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework

• Data storage: All your data is stored in your device's secure database

• Image processing: Photo optimization and enhancement happens locally

• Search and organization: Finding and organizing your notes works without internet

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable iCloud sync for Jata:

• Your personal iCloud: Data syncs to your personal iCloud account

• We can't see it: Apple encrypts iCloud data and we have no access to it

• Apple's privacy policy: iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours

Anonymous Crash Reports

To help us fix bugs and improve Jata, we may collect anonymous crash reports:

• Technical data only: Device type, iOS version, crash location in code

• No personal data: Never includes your notes, tasks, or images

• You control it: Opt out anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements

• Anonymous: Cannot be linked back to you or your device

No Third-Party Services

Jata doesn't use any third-party services that could access your data:

• No analytics services: No Google Analytics, Facebook, or similar tracking

• No cloud OCR: Text recognition happens on your device, not external servers

• No ad networks: We don't show ads or use advertising frameworks

• No social media: No Facebook, Twitter, or other social integrations

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, you automatically have complete control:

• Data portability: Export all your data anytime through the app

• Right to deletion: Delete the app to remove all data (it only exists on your device)

• No data requests needed: You already have all your data

• No account deletion: There are no accounts to delete

Children's Privacy

Jata is safe for users of all ages:

• No data collection: We don't collect data from anyone, including children under 13

• No online features: No chat, sharing, or communication features

• Offline-first: Works completely offline, no internet required
