Frequently Asked Questions

How does Jata work?

Simply take a photo of your handwritten notes. Jata captures the page and lets you mark individual items as complete. Your notes are organized into notebooks and become searchable.

Do I need an account to use Jata?

No account is required to start using Jata. Your notes are stored locally on your device and backed up to iCloud if you have it enabled.

Can I use Jata offline?

Yes! Jata is designed to work completely offline. All core features including capture, organization, and search work without an internet connection. Voice recognition works better with an internet connection, but you can still capture and manage your notes offline.

Can I export my data?

We have this on our roadmap. If you would like to see this sooner, please reach out to us at help@ghostlabsllc.xyz

Is my data private?

Absolutely. Your notes stay on your device by default. We never analyze or share your personal notes.

What devices does Jata support?

Jata is available for iPhone running iOS 18 or later. iPad support is on our roadmap.

How do I organize my notes?

Notes are organized into notebooks that mirror your physical notebooks. You can create unlimited notebooks and use tags to categorize pages across notebooks.
